The Appreciating Diversity Film Series lends films to the general public. It is our intent that the titles be seen by as many people as possible and that showings be followed by a dialogue about the issues that the films address. All showings must be free.
If you are a Piedmont resident, you can generally borrow the films directly from the school library system (mostly at the high school). Otherwise, films may be borrowed through the film series and will be sent to you via the US mail. You may request titles by sending an email request with "Lending Library" in the subject line to

Those interested in borrowing films will need to complete a short registration form and leave a deposit of $25/film on file in either the form of a check or credit card number. There is no charge for borrowing films. Films will be loaned for 1-2 weeks.
Not every film we've shown is available but most are. We encourage you to take advantage of this resource, view the films, share them with friends and neighbors, and continue supporting the creation of important documentaries.
